Strategic management of the enterprise: Essence and features

Abstract
Objective. The purpose of this paper is to study and improve the essence and interpretation of the categories «strategic management of enterprise», «enterprise management strategy», «enterprise strategy management», «enterprise strategy», «enterprise strategic plan» and identify characteristic features and differences between these categories. Research methods. In the process of the research, the methods of scientific abstraction, structural decomposition analysis and synthesis, logical generalization, cause and effect, logical and prognostic, and content-comparative were used to reveal the essence of the problem. Scientific novelty. The content and interpretation of the categories of "strategic management of enterprise", "enterprise management strategy", "management of enterprise strategy", "enterprise management strategy", "enterprise strategy", "strategic plan of enterprise" are defined. The logic of subordination of concepts in the system of strategic management of enterprise is formed. The substantive difference between the categories of "enterprise management strategy" and "management of enterprise strategy" is disclosed. The content and structural characteristics of the strategic management of enterprise are presented. Practical significance. The presented material defines the content and increases the scientific, methodological and applied level of use of the category "strategic management of an enterprise", as well as all other categories derived from it. Results. The essence of the category "strategic management of enterprise" is defined and the main constituent elements of the category "strategic management of enterprise" are formed. The theoretical and methodological bases for the justified use of the categories "enterprise management strategy", "enterprise strategy management" and "strategic management of enterprise" are formed in accordance with their content and purpose in the scientific, educational and practical spheres of human activity. The relationship of the category "strategic management of enterprise" with the life cycle of enterprise is presented. The dialectical process of transformation of strategic management of enterprise according to different stages of the life cycle of enterprise under the influence of changes in the external (market) and internal environment is substantiated. The methodological and subject significance of all components of the strategic management of enterprise in the general system of enterprise management is determined by the criteria of content and time, which allows to ensure a more efficient process of general financial and economic analysis and planning of enterprise activities from a practical point of view. A scientific and methodological interpretation of the category of "strategic management of enterprise" is provided
